Olivia Costa is a writer and director interested in work that is poetic and affecting, often straddling the fine line between absurdism and reality, intimacy and distance.

Olivia’s directing work has been screened at 1.4, The Powerhouse Museum, MTV, Rage, London Queer Fringe Festival, Melbourne Queer Film Festival, Lobster.

Olivia’s writing has appeared in various publications: Voiceworks, Harper’s Bazaar, Away, The Brag, Seizure, UTS Anthology, FBi, and was a selected artist in the National Young Writers Festival 2020 & 2021.

Olivia works on unceded Gadigal land. She acknowledges the Gadigal people as the custodians and storytellers of this land.
